Daina Jowsey
Daina has had many years of professional performing experience, as lead vocalist for the Victoria Police Showband, as a Melbourne jazz singer and with many of Melbourne’s most well respected ensembles and orchestras.
She relishes the chance to sing beautiful Irving Berlin and George Gershwin Standards from the 1930’s, well known songs from 1940-50’s, songs from classic MGM musicals, cabaret and music theatre repertoire and of course jazz.
Daina has made numerous TV appearances on Bert Newton’s GMA, and is in demand for numerous jazz festivals. Daina is looking forward to reuniting with her fellow Diva Elise Beattie to present 'DIVAS IN CONCERT'.
THE VICTORIA POLICE SHOWBAND
Elise and Daina spent many years as lead vocalists with The Victoria Police Showband. Under musical director Daryl McKenzie the Showband, a twenty-one piece big band, belonged to the Victoria Police public relations unit and was responsible for promoting the positive face of policin . The band performed full-time and delivered a range of performances including school concerts, seniors shows, public performance, community fundraisers and functions. As well as performing in their own right, the band also worked alongside a number of well known artists including, Kate Ceberano, Rhonda Birchmore, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Daryl Cotton, Joe Camilleri, Sylvie Palladino, Julie Anthony, Normie Rowe, Jim Keays, Daryl Braithwaite, Frankie J. Holden, Glen Shorrock, Marcie Jones, Denise Drysdale and Colleen Hewitt.

Elise Beattie
Elise has been performing professionally since the age of 13 when she first appeared with Opera Australia's Children's Chorus alongside Dame Joan Sutherland. From that time on she forged her way onto the stage and is known for her versatility and love of opera & musical theatre favorites, pop, R&B, soul, celtic & country music.
Elise has performed internationally, starred in many theatre shows & was a regular on Bert's GMA. She is a session vocalist for radio & TV jingles & can be seen performing around the Melbourne corporate scene with the Daryl McKenzie Orchestra.
Elise is thrilled to once again be singing & entertaining alongside Daina Jowsey in their new toe-tapping show!
